Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister has provided a positive transfer update as the Gers look ahead to the rest of the window.
The Ibrox side have had a relatively quiet window, adding only John Lundstram and Fashion Sakala to the Rangers first team with fellow new signing Nnamdi Ofoborh side-lined with a heart issue.
Many believe the Gers counted the cost of this lack of activity in the market by crashing out of the Champions League and after defeating Dunfermline 5-0 McAllister was discussing the reminder of the window.
The Ibrox assistant revealed that the Gers remain active in the market and are still on the hunt for quality additions.
“We’re continually looking and we’re going down avenues all the time,” said McAllister [Rangers].
“And if something can come off prior to the end of the window closing, we’re still looking to get better players here.”
Two players in particular have been routinely mentioned alongside Rangers all summer with Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel and Heerenveen midfielder Joey Veerman linked to Ibrox.
Both would bulk out the squad with quality options but it remains to be seen just how much of an impact the club’s failure to reach the Champions League will have on these plans.

Rangers will now need to qualify for the Europa League to secure a much needed European cash boost but this would plough in a fraction of the £30m+ earned through Champions League qualification.
There’s been much talk regarding exits as a result of the failure to reach the group stages but could the current state of the transfer market dictate whether players stay or go?
