Former Rangers striker Ryan Hardie has left Blackpool to join Plymouth Argyle on loan until the end of the season.
The move comes just six months after the 22-year-old called time on his Gers career and headed south of the border in search of new opportunities.

Given the number 9 shirt by Blackpool, it was expected that he’d play an integral role in their EFL League One campaign.
However, that hasn’t materialised. The former Scotland youth international has made just seven appearances in the league, with only two of those coming from the start.
His only goal for the Seasiders to date, came in a 5-1 Football League Trophy win over Morecambe in September.
Now, he’s been allowed to join League Two outfit, Plymouth Argyle, in an attempt to earn more playing time. The Pilgrims are chasing promotion and manager, Ryan Lowe is looking for more goals in his side.
It’s possible that this move has been made to offset the departure of current Rangers loanee, Zak Rudden.
19-year-old Rudden has scored three goals in 18 appearances for the Plymouth this season, including a Boxing Day winner away at Cheltenham, but his loan deal is due to expire this month. In late December, he suggested he’d like to extend his stay [Plymouth Live], but no progress appears to have been made to that end.

Having been offered few opportunities by Blackpool boss Simon Grayson, Hardie will be hoping he can now finally begin to make his mark in England.
