Rangers fans could yet see former Ibrox midfielder Sean Goss return to Glasgow next season, only this time he’ll be wearing the blue of newly promoted Dundee.
The Dens Park side are back in the Scottish Premiership and according to the Daily Record, are in discussions with the German-born Northern Irish midfielder.
This comes following Sean Goss’ release from his Motherwell contract at the end of last season, but Tony Docherty does face stiff competition for the player’s services.
According to the report, Sean Goss has lucrative offers in Greece and India and it remains to be seen if Dundee can convince the midfielder to sign on again in Scotland.
Rangers fans have seen Sean Goss turn out against them repeatedly over the last few seasons with Motherwell, with the midfielder also spending time at St Johnstone.

Moving to Rangers on loan in the January of 2018, Sean Goss was a number of signings made during the ill-fated stint of Graeme Murty in charge of the Ibrox first team.
Playing 15 times in total for Rangers, and scoring two goals, Sean Goss returned to parent club QPR at the end of the season and went on to have a loan spell in Perth the following campaign.
A two year spell with Shrewsbury south of the border followed before another two years at Fir Park, with Sean Goss now having some big decisions to make amid interest from Dundee.
The midfielder started his career at Manchester United and it hasn’t quite happened for the player at the top level but at 27-years-old there is still plenty of time left to find a home in football.
Rangers have certainly moved on significantly from signing players of the calibre of Sean Goss with the club’s midfield boasting players of much higher international pedigree.
Amongst them includes one World Cup star who has already begun impressing the Rangers support with big things expected following a summer move.
