As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Stuart McCall has given his thoughts on new Rangers signings Joe Aribo and George Edmundson.
McCall managed the Gers in 2015, but since then has been the gaffer at both Bradford City and Scunthorpe United.

During his time with the Iron last season, he came up against a Charlton side containing Aribo.
“I remember Joe scoring two goals against us for Charlton when we won 5-3 and I was impressed by him”, McCall told the Scottish Sun.
“He’s a box-to-box midfielder who likes to get on the end of things, a little bit like Scott Arfield at the end of last year.
“He has potential and if he can come in and reach that then Rangers could sell him for a big profit in a few years.”
Furthermore, the 55-year-old says he scouted George Edmundson last term with a view to trying to sign him for Scunthorpe.
“I remember going to watch George around December time and he was a solid player”, he added. “He is strong in the tackle and he is quick for a centre-half.
“He is another one who has plenty of potential, but it’s a bit different playing in front of 4,000 at Oldham and 50,000 at Ibrox. For me they are both good additions, but they have to be able to handle the expectancy of being at a club like Rangers.”

Verdict
These comments should be encouraging for Rangers fans.
Both new signings were in high demand but few Bears will have seen anything more than YouTube clips of their new signings.
McCall has first-hand experience and was clearly impressed. As young players, they are clearly full of potential and hopefully we will see them flourish at Ibrox over the next few seasons.
