Glen Kamara is expected to be one of the first Rangers players out of the door this summer as Michael Beale gets set to trim his ever expanding squad.
The 27-year old Finland international might currently be out of favour at Ibrox, however, he remains a quality player who will be a valuable asset for someone.
Writing in The Herald, Chris Jack has revealed how much Glen Kamara is worth to the club and what Rangers are hoping to land in a deal that would be almost all profit.

What is Glen Kamara’s asking price for Rangers?
As well as the fee being demanded, Rangers correspondent Jack has also claimed that there is already interest in the Gers number 18 and that Michael Beale shouldn’t be short of offers:
“Rangers have put a £5million price tag on the head of Glen Kamara as the midfielder gets set to head for the Ibrox exit door this summer.
“Kamara is attracting strong interest from clubs in France and Italy as well as the Championship and will be allowed to leave in the coming weeks.”
Glen Kamara, with 50 Finland caps, always seemed to save his best for continental football but never really seemed suited to the SPFL, especially against teams that were more physical or liked to sit in.
His strengths lie in resisting pressure and recycling the ball but for Rangers, as we’ve seen with Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantaell, you have ti be more than that.
At his peak, post Euro 2020 or our Europa Leagye run to the final in 2022, Kamara could probably have demanded an eight-figure sum.
Despite the dip last season, he should still be commanding the sort of fee being reported.
For a £50,000 outlay though, if Rangers can secure upwards of £5m, with a few add ons thrown in, then it has been a remarkable bit of business.
