Rangers manager Michael Beale will not have Queens Park Rangers striker Lyndon Dykes in his squad next season.
Rangers linked with Queens Park Rangers striker Lyndon Dykes
The Daily Mail reported last week that Rangers are interested in signing Lyndon Dykes from Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The report claimed that Millwall and Burnley are also keen on securing the services of the 27-year-old Scotland international striker.
Former Rangers star Barry Ferguson wrote in The Daily Record last week that he would love to see Dykes join the Gers in the summer of 2023.
However, Rangers will not be able to sign the striker now.
That’s because Dykes has put pen to paper on a new contract with QPR in the Championship in England.

Striker makes decision on his future
QPR have announced on their official website that Dykes has “committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension which will keep him at Loftus Road until the summer of 2026”.
Head coach Gareth Ainsworth said: “I am really pleased to be able to secure Lyndon because he’s been a fantastic servant so far for the club and he’s only going to get better.
“This is really good news and I’m sure he can lead the line really well for us this year.”
Dykes initially moved to QPR on loan from Livingston before making the deal permanent in 2020.
The striker, who missed almost two months of last season due to pneumonia, has scored 29 goals in 120 appearances for QPR so far in his career.
