Former Rangers striker Jason Cummings could soon be set to link up with ex-Ibrox star Greg Stewart in India as Mumbai City are linked to the Aussie forward.
Jason Cummings might’ve only spent a short six-month stint in Glasgow with Rangers but the former Hibs striker’s eccentric personality means he continues to be mentioned around the club.

Currently plying his trade in Australia with Central Coast Mariners, the striker’s resurgent form and 16 goals this season are why Jason Cummings even earned a spot at the World Cup in Qatar.
But now new shores could be calling the former Ibrox striker as Jason Cummings is linked to the top division in India – the Indian Super League – and potentially teaming up with Greg Stewart.
According to the Herald, current India Super League champions Bohun Magan have offered Jason Cummings £9.5k per week to play with them from next season but now Mumbai City have entered the race.
Mumbai are bankrolled by the City Group and – according to the report at least – hope to make the striker their marquee signing heading into next season.
Jason Cummings linked with India switch
Rangers fans who’ve been following Greg Stewart will know Mumbai City is the club that the ex-Ibrox striker plays for having earned the move after a stint with ISL team Jamshedpur.
Whilst the two players never played together at Rangers – Jason Cummings leaving before Steven Gerrard took charge in 2018 and Greg Stewart joining in 2019 – it’s an interesting potential Ibrox link-up in India.
Greg Stewart has proven successful in India, with the striker netting 14 goals and 12 assists this season.
To see both players flying the Rangers and Scotland flags in the emerging football country would be quite something and given both are talented players you wouldn’t bet against them being successful.
But away from the football, the notion that Jason Cummings and Greg Stewart would be cutting about India and Mumbai together is quite something.
What could possibly go wrong?
