The Daily Record reports that former Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has agreed to join Sheffield United.
Foderingham was one of a small group of players – including Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan – recently released by the Gers at the expiration of their contracts.

It was expected that after a five-year stint at Ibrox, the 29-year-old would return home to England, but until now, it was unclear who would snap him up.
It looks as though Sheffield United have won the race for his signature, though, meaning the former Swindon Town keeper will soon be a Premier League player.
The Record claims that the free agent has agreed terms with the Blades ahead of the 2020/21 season.
After gaining promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2018/19 campaign, Sheffield United have enjoyed an outstanding first year back in the top flight and currently sit eighth in the table, one spot ahead of Arsenal.
It’s suggested Foderingham will be given the opportunity to compete for the no.1 spot but as yet, it’s unclear who he will be competing with.

Blades manager, Chris Wilder, is set to attempt to bring Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson back to Bramall Lane for another season and if he’s successful with that bid, the ex-Ger would almost certainly begin his time there as the back-up option.
Foderingham made 143 appearances in all competitions during his time at Rangers but found his playing time limited after the return of Allan McGregor in 2018.
