Dynamo Kiev v Rangers match details

Rangers are set to face off against Dynamo Kiev in Champions League QR3 at the Lublin Arena, Poland.

The match has been moved to the 15k seater stadium due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Kick-off time is set for 7pm BST with this the first leg of a two-legged affair between the two sides.

The return leg will be held at Hampden in a week’s time (13/08), with Rangers forced to use Scotland’s national stadium due to the ongoing works at Ibrox.

Dynamo Kiev v Rangers financial bonuses

Rangers and Dynamo Kiev know that there is €4.3m (£3.7m) on the line for qualification to the Champions League Playoff.

This is the reduced parachute payment now guaranteed for clubs who reach this stage of Champions League qualification.

The losing side will drop down into the Europa League with UEFA’s new financial distribution system very much dependent on club performances in one’s respective competition.

Should Rangers qualify for the Champions League proper, it is believed the Gers will trouser somewhere in the region of £30m in total.

Rangers team news & predicted XI

Rangers have been rocked by an early season injury to Colombian winger Oscar Cortes this week.

The Ibrox number seven went down in the 0-0 draw with Hearts and has sustained a knee issue which will keep him out until late September.

Joined by Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin, Rangers are not expected to have any other high-profile injury issues heading into the game.

Dujon Sterling has been snapped back in Rangers training after Philippe Clement claimed he was hopeful the utility man would be available in Poland.

Rangers could also hand a debut to new signing Robin Pröpper against Dynamo Kiev following the centre-back’s £1.5m move from FC Twente.
