Dominic Solanke, has joined Bournemouth on a long-term deal.
That is, despite the England international being linked with a loan move to Rangers.

Rumours were rife about Steven Gerrard using his Liverpool connections to secure the striker’s services.
However, that can now be put to bed, as it is confirmed he is staying in England.
Sky Sports are reporting that the transfer will cost the Cherries a whopping £19 million, plus add-ons.
It represents a sizeable profit for Liverpool, who signed Solanke on a free transfer from Chelsea, back in 2017.
It is highly likely that this deal will still have a tangible impact at Ibrox.
Solanke’s arrival on the south coast, surely suggests that Jermain Defoe is definitely on his way out.
With Callum Wilson, Joshua King and Lys Mousset also options at Dean Court, five strikers would seem excessive.

In fact, this deal was confirmed shortly after a Glasgow based journalist claimed Defoe is set for a Rangers medical at some stage tomorrow.
It’s certainly all happening in the early stages of this transfer window. Gers fans will hope that in moving for Defoe rather than Solanke, Gerrard has made the right decision.
