Rangers are on the verge of signing Feyenoord striker Danilo with a five-year deal now waiting for him at ibrox.
The Gers appear to be nearing a very exciting double deal.
The day started with The Athletic reporting that Rangers are finally set to sign LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes.
That one has been rumbling on for months now but Rangers appear to be closing in on the Ecuadorian.
Rangers are now set for another South American signing with Danilo finally heading for Glasgow.
Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad report that Rangers have agreed a deal worth more than €6million (£5.2million) for Feyenoord striker Danilo.
It’s stated that Danilo will be flying into Glasgow in the coming days in order to complete his medical.
The report adds that Danilo will be signing a five-year contract at Rangers with an agreement between the clubs definitively reached earlier today.
Rangers are understood to have made three failed bids for Danilo but the Brazilian striker is now finally set for Ibrox.
This is a nice profit for Feyenoord, who only signed Danilo on a free transfer from Ajax a year ago.
Danilo scored 14 times in all competitions last season, helping Feyenoord win the Eredivisie title and reach the Europa League semi-finals.
Now set to join Rangers, Danilo will hope to play a vital role under Michael Beale with a title charge hopefully on the cards.
