As always seems to be the case with Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers, his situation seems a bit unpredictable right now.
Gers seemed set to cash on the frontman, who hasn’t been met with universal approval during his time at Ibrox despite the amount of goals he’s scored and some top displays.
That’s because of the other side of the coin which sees him miss some big chances and also have some poor games across the board.
But Dessers had his best Rangers game yet against Union Saint-Gilloise and has generally been in red-hot form recently.
Importantly, Philippe Clement was happy with Dessers and insisted he was proving his doubters wrong with his displays and goals scored.
That could cause a big change for his future and Rangers fans were also delighted with his contribution.
Interest has always seemed to remain from other clubs though and Ibrox chiefs may have a decision to make if a concrete offer is received.

Cagliari to sell striker amid Dessers links
Cagliari are one of the clubs to have been strongly linked with Dessers and he was said to have been their top target at one stage.
But it was then claimed the Serie A relegation strugglers couldn’t afford a permanent move and preferred a loan, which Gers weren’t keen on.
It was a similar story for Leganes in Spain while Empoli and French side Saint-Étienne have also had interest.
Cagliari are now going to need a striker even more with Gianluca Lapadula set to head on loan to Spezia for the rest of the season ahead of his contract ending.
And Rai News names Dessers as the most likely candidate to replace him in their squad. Lapadula is set to be one of Cagliari’s higher earners so that could create some wiggle room.
Rangers ‘increase’ Dessers asking price
Meanwhile, Rangers are said to have increased their asking price for Dessers after his recent scintillating form, reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.
It is claimed Gers now want £3.35million for the striker.
A potential stumbling block would be the time left to get a replacement in after Philippe Clement insisted they would need to be sure of bringing in someone of at least equal quality before letting Dessers go.
