Rangers target Jhon Arias has admitted his love for Fluminense amid links surrounding a potential move to Ibrox in 2024.

Rangers target Jhon Arias shares his love for Fluminense
TEAMtalk reported in October that Rangers have joined Leeds United and other English clubs in the race to sign Fluminense wide man Arias.
It was suggested that Rangers would be watching Arias in the Copa Libertadores final – a game which Fluminense won 2-1 in a dramatic encounter.
Rangers may well look to lure the Colombian wide man to Glasgow but he doesn’t seem to be pushing for a transfer.
Arias has told Netflu that he is happy at Fluminense and really likes playing for the Brazilian club.
Arias was celebrating winning the Copa Libertadores and was honoured to be part of such ‘wonderful’ celebrations, seemingly loving his life at Fluminense.
“It’s a wonderful thing. Celebrating the title with a party this size… everyone deserved it. I don’t consider myself an idol of Fluminense. I really like it here, I’m happy and very grateful,” said Arias.
Who is Rangers target Arias?
Arias featured in Mexico and his native Colombia before heading to Fluminense in 2021.
The 26-year-old – who predominantly plays down the right flank – has now racked up 138 appearances for Fluminense.
Arias has bagged 26 goals and 31 assists in that time, becoming a key player under Fernando Diniz.
Now a Colombia international with 10 caps to his name, Arias may seem to be ready for a big move to Europe with Rangers right in the mix.
Arias himself isn’t all that bothered though, and may well decide to stay with Fluminense despite the rising interest.
