Rangers have rubbished links to Man City star Cole Palmer as Deadline Day links to the talented midfielder emerge online.
The Gers are said to be close to an announcement on Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin with Michael Beale looking to add more to his squad on deadline day.

But one player who will not be joining Rangers is 20-year-old Man City star Cole Palmer, who was linked with a loan move to Ibrox this morning.
At least that’s according to Heart & Hand, who claim that Rangers have told them that the links between the Ibrox club and the emerging Premier League star are patently incorrect
“Despite reports on here, Rangers didn’t make an approach for Cole Palmer of Man City,” said Heart & Hand.
This comes after Rangers were linked with a loan move for Palmer, with the Man City star having made nine appearances for the club this season.
The Sun’s Live Transfer Blog [31/01/22 11:15] had claimed earlier in the day that Rangers have had a bid rejected for Cole Palmer alongside the likes of Brighton and Sheffield United.
They claim that Man City manager Pep Guardiola wants to keep the kid around this season and that he won’t be leaving the Etihad.
Rangers rubbish Cole Palmer links
Whilst Rangers don’t appear to be interested in Cole Palmer, the Ibrox side are said to be in the market for more singings this January.
Rangers manager Michael Beale has previously claimed that the club will be working away in the background trying to get deals done.
Specifically, the Rangers manager has previously mentioned interest in another midfield signing.
‘If you think who left that area for Rangers it was Joe Aribo and what he brought to the team in terms of legs and energy,” said Beale [Rangers].
“It’s lazy to say him and Tillman are similar because they’re not, they’re completely different. Malik brings something different and I feel that type of player would help us.
“I want one more to compete with Jack, John and Glen in those roles. That’s what we’re looking for.”
Whilst Cole Palmer won’t be coming to Rangers, the Ibrox side have held off serious competition for Nicolas Raskin.
