Chris Jack has revealed how much Rangers will be saving in wages as Rabbi Matondo has left to join SK Brann.
The Gers announced on Tuesday evening that the Wales international has parted ways with them and has completed a permanent transfer to the Norwegian club.
Matondo was linked with an exit over the past few months, but the deal was made official this week.

Rangers set to save £200k+ on Matondo’s wages
Speaking on Rangers Review’s YouTube channel, Jack claimed that the Gers will be saving £200k on Matondo’s wages with his exit.
Now that he is no longer on the books at the club, they are not entitled to pay him anything.
The downside of his exit is that Rangers did not get a transfer fee for him, but they have included a sell-on clause.
That means that if the Welshman does well in Norway and gets a good move in the coming years, the Ibrox outfit are entitled to a share of the transfer fee.
However, an exit is viewed as a good deal for all parties, as Danny Rohl clearly did not rate Matondo.
The winger made just one appearance in the league this season, so an exit would ensure that he gets regular minutes and can re-establish his career.
Brann get a player who would strengthen their playing eleven without shelling out a transfer fee.
Jack said: “He was clearly never going to be offered an extension to that contract, but Rangers save themselves a couple hundred grand on his wages.”

Matondo’s exit was welcomed by the majority of the Rangers fans due to his lack of availability since joining in 2022.
The club, too, did not appear to write the warmest of farewells for the winger, as they have for some of their former players.
They confirmed his move to the Norwegian side and thanked him for the 70 appearances he made for them.
It was noted that he scored eight goals for them during that time and he was wished the best for his future.
The statement read: “Rangers can today confirm Rabbi Matondo has joined Norwegian side SK Brann on a permanent deal.
“The 25-year-old Welsh international made 70 appearances for the club after joining in the summer of 2022, scoring eight times for the Light Blues.
“Everyone at Rangers wishes Rabbi the best of luck in his future endeavours.”
