Premier League giants Chelsea are set to boost the Brighton coffers by £50m as they close in on Marc Cucurella amid links between Rangers’ Glen Kamara and the Seagulls.
According to reports – including this one by Sky Sports – Spanish international left-back Marc Cucurella, 24, is in “advanced talks” regarding a move to Stamford Bridge.

This comes after Cucurella handed in a transfer request at Brighton before the weekend amid strong interest from Manchester City.
However, the Premier League champions are said to be unwilling to go beyond £30m for the defender, with Chelsea prepared to pay £50m for the left-back.
City had initially targeted Marc Cucurella as a replacement for Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has moved across the Premier League to Arsenal, who’re managed by ex-Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta.

Brighton to seek Marc Cucurella amid links to Rangers’ Glen Kamara
Marc Cucurella was a stand-out in the Brighton team last season and no matter what happens Graham Potter’s side stand to make a substantial profit on the defender, who signed for the club on a £15m deal from Getafe last season.
But whilst this is all well and good, Rangers fans will have one eye on what happens at Brighton amid strong links to Finnish international midfielder Glen Kamara.
Whilst Cucurella is a left-back, Brighton are believed to be long-term admirers of Rangers midfielder Glen and were once again linked earlier in the summer.
This came after the club banked a reported £30m from the sale of defensive midfielder Yves Bissouma to Antonio Conte and Tottenham.
The reports originated in 90min and if Brighton are serious about any interest in Kamara, Rangers would expect the Premier League side to stump up given Glen is contracted to Ibrox until 2025.
The AMEX side are yet to properly replace Bissouma in the transfer window and perhaps any cash injection from Chelsea and the sale of Marc Cucurella could help boost their transfer coffers ahead of the new season.

Brighton aren’t the only club who’ve been linked with a move for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara either, with the latest suggesting Serie A Salernitana could make a move for the midfielder.
90min, who appear to be very close to all this reported interest in Kamara, claim the Italians have joined Galatasaray in the hunt for Glen, with the Gers valuing the midfielder around £10m.
For many Rangers fans, this wouldn’t be enough to sign the player and as Marc Cucurella prepares to move to Chelsea from Brighton, they’ll have one eye on any implication for Glen Kamara.
Speaking of the Premier League, one club from England’s top flight is reportedly set to announce a deal with a Rangers-linked star.
