Rangers are understood to be keen on securing the services of BK Hacken star Silas Andersen.
The Ibrox outfit were linked with the 21-year-old in the January transfer window as well, but opted against securing his services.
Rangers did sign four new players, however, and are hoping that they have done enough to lift the Scottish Premiership title.

Mikkel Rygaard expects Silas Andersen big-money sale in the summer
BK Hacken player Mikkel Rygaard was discussing potential big-money exits from his side in the summer with Fotbollskanalen.
When asked who the most likely sale would be, he stated Andersen’s name without any hesitation.
He said: “It’s probably Silas Andersen.
“There’s been a lot of talk about him. So, he’ll probably be the next to leave.”

In the January transfer window, Danish publication Bold claimed that Rangers were leading the race to sign the midfielder from BK Hacken and even made a transfer move by initiating contact.
The 21-year-old is viewed as one of the best midfielders in the Swedish first division, and the Gers wanted him at Ibrox.
He was also linked with a move to Premier League duo Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, and is tipped for big things in the professional game.
So far, Andersen has been capped by the Denmark Under-21s side, but is tipped for a senior call-up sooner rather than later.

How will Silas Andersen strengthen Rangers?
Andersen is a defensive midfielder with an engine on him, so he would offer the Gers the legs they need in the middle of the park.
He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and would add much-needed height and physicality to the Ibrox outfit.
His arrival would improve their ability to win aerial duels and become more of a threat from attacking set plays.
Andersen is known to be exemplary at breaking play, shielding the backline, and recycling possession – making him an important player in transition.
At 21, he could be a canny investment for the future as his valuation is only going to skyrocket for the next few years.
Under the new ownership, Rangers have targeted young players with high ceilings, and the Danish midfielder will tick a number of boxes for them.
