Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara seems primed to leave the club this summer as he trains alone at Auchenhowie.
Gers boss Michael Beale has confirmed that Kamara is training away from the first-team squad.
Beale has been speaking to the Daily Record after Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim.
The start of the new season is just days away now and Beale will be busy deciding his lineup to face Kilmarnock.
One player who will not be involved is Kamara, who has been left out of Rangers’ pre-season plans.
The Finnish midfielder still has two years left on his contract at Rangers but isn’t in Beale’s plans.
Beale has now admitted that Kamara was initially out of the preparations due to his international commitments and then an illness.
The Rangers boss added that Kamara is now training away from the Rangers group, just working on his fitness.
Beale even admitted that people around Kamara are fielding enquiries and talking too potential suitors about transfers.
Beale has no issues with Kamara but believes it’s best for everyone that he isn’t included in the squad.
“Glen was given an extended break at the end of the season due to internationals then he had a sickness problem which has run on,” said Beale.
“He’s training in isolation at the moment, not with the group, trying to get himself up to speed. There’s a lot in the background with Glen as well, with different enquiries and him talking to different people.”
“So it’s best that he’s to the side of the group. I’ve got no issues with him on a personal level. It’s a conversation we had a good few months ago,” he added.

Where could Glen Kamara end up?
Rangers are moving in a new direction and it’s time for Kamara to leave after more than four years at Ibrox.
We have already seen plenty of rumours surrounding Kamara and a potential Rangers exit.
Turkish news outlet Fotospor suggested that Besiktas had offered a loan-to-buy deal for Kamara – a rumour which hasn’t gone any further.
Then there is Leeds United.
Reports from Yorkshire Evening Post this month suggested that Leeds had closely assess Kamara for a move to Elland Road.
Last Word on Sports even claimed that Leeds had agreed personal terms with Kamara ahead of a switch.
That deal has not progressed though and Kamara remains at Rangers just days ahead of the new season.
Beale has now publicly left the door open for clubs to come in and bid for Kamara, with Rangers clearly keen to get rid of the former Arsenal talent.
