Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is now tasked with climbing Aston Villa up the Premier League table and he may look to Ibrox for some assistance.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool legend Gerrard is considering a move for former Anfield winger Ryan Kent.

The tricky wide man has been a consistent performer on the big occasion for Gerrard and according to the latest reports he could be again down south.
Ryan Kent is amongst the most highly sought-after assets in the Rangers squad and has just returned after a period of injury.
The winger pulled his hamstring in the Ibrox side’s opening Europa League match in which Gerrard’s team lost 2-0 to Lyon.
Since returning to the side Kent has brought with him a breath of fresh air and when at the top of his game is a talismanic presence for this Ranger side.
However, a former Liverpool Academy player Kent was signed by Steven Gerrard when the former Anfield hero first took over the club in 2018.
After winning the Young Player of the Year award, there was much conjecture regarding Kent’s future before he eventually signed a deal with Rangers with the Ibrox club parting with a reported £7m to make the move happen.

Since then Kent has been routinely linked with a move to the Premier League and Leeds United but Rangers have held firm over their valuation of the player.
Rangers fans recognise the importance of Ryan Kent in this side but with former boss Stevie G moving down south there is a question over the future of certain players at Ibrox.
Kent, 25, is one such name and perhaps the new Aston Villa boss will look to plug a £100m gap with the influential attacking winger.
