Alfredo Morelos has been the main man for Rangers this season.
He is impressive tally of 20 goals in 35 appearances, is the main reason the Gers are in a position to challenge for silverware.

Naturally, when a player performs well, there are rumours of interest from elsewhere.
Rangers’ coaching staff have repeatedly stated that the player isn’t for sale, though.
That’s expected to continue, even if Jermain Defoe joins the club this month.

Nonetheless, it’s good to know how valuable an asset Rangers have on their hands.
The club paid approximately £1 million to HJK Helsinki for his services in July 2017. Although, there were some quirky add-ons to the deal, one of which is set to come into effect this month.
After his first full season at Rangers, where he notched 18 goals, his Transfermarkt valuation rose to £2.03 million.
However, after hitting the coveted 20-goal mark by Boxing Day in his second campaign, surely he is now worth considerably more.

Baring in mind, Morelos is still 22. He is only going to improve and has a clean slate in terms of serious injuries.
Yet, Transfermarkt updated his valuation on Thursday, and it’s extremely underwhelming.
£2.7 million.
Surely not. In today’s market where goal scorers regularly go for hugely inflated prices.
One thing’s for sure, it’ll be easy for Rangers to turn down interest in the SPL’s marksman, if that’s the kind of offer that comes in from elsewhere.
