Aberdeen have made a late move for former Rangers loanee Florian Kamberi, according to the Daily Record.
Kamberi spent the second half of last season on loan at Ibrox from Hibernian, turning out nine times for the Gers and scoring just once.

Steven Gerrard opted not to sign the forward on a permanent deal and he eventually moved to Swiss club St Gallen, ironically as a replacement for Cedric Itten, who had joined Rangers.
Kamberi has endured a dreadful first six months in the Swiss Super League, though, and has dropped down the pecking order after failing to score in his first eight appearances.
Now, the Daily Record reports that Aberdeen are offering him a chance to make a surprise return to Scottish football.
The Dons sold Sam Cosgrove to Birmingham City for a reported fee of £2m earlier this week [Herald] and it’s said that Derek McInnes sees Kamberi as a suitable replacement.

A loan deal until the end of the season is said to be close to completion, with the Scottish FA allegedly confirming that the 25-year-old met work permit criteria on Monday morning.
Kamberi won over many Rangers fans when he called his loan switch to Ibrox a ‘dream move’ [STV] but although he impressed in off the bench in a 2-2 draw with St Johnstone in February, he didn’t do enough to land a permanent contract and the Gers have since upgraded with the acquisitions of Itten and Kemar Roofe.
Meanwhile, the supporters of an EFL Championship club are rejoicing after a reportedly Ibrox-bound 21-year-old joined them on loan.
