Rangers fans react to Celtic's Champions League exit

Rangers are enjoying an impressive early period under Steven Gerrard, while Celtic have suffered two consecutive defeats.

The most recent of those saw Brendan Rodgers’ men eliminated from the Champions League, losing in the third qualification round at the hands of Greek outfit AEK Athens 2-1 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.

That compounds a slow start to the season across town, where transfer activity and defeat to Hearts indicates that all is not right.

Rangers fans obviously took note and after playing second fiddle last season, some took the opportunity to poke fun at Celtic for dropping into the Europa League and failing to make it into Europe’s elite club competition.
