Kyle Lafferty has already admitted that he’d be interested in Rangers if they are in him. It’s just about the clubs getting the price right.
The story seemed to have fizzled out last week after Hearts rejected a £200k bid from Rangers for the front man, but reports this morning suggest the move is back on.
And what a move it would be given his performance at the weekend.

Yet again Kyle Lafferty showed up in a big game. Yet again Kyle Lafferty scored against Celtic.
Yet again the Northern Irishman still gets criticism in some quarters and doesn’t get the credit he is due.
With relative youngsters Morelos and Sadiq the only recognised strikers, Rangers need an experienced striker who fits the mould of what it takes to play for the club. Lafferty, on paper at least, is perfect.
He has scored in his last 4 against Celtic. He loves the club. He would relish a shot at redemption after leaving in 2012.
He has a massive point to prove and you can’t help but feel the last few years of his career have been directed and leading to a return to his boyhood heroes. He wants nothing more.

Not it seems it’s what Gerrard wants too.
With money coming in from the sale of Josh Windass and Declan John, Rangers have had a little boost in the window and have a few spare pennies to spend.
Spending them on Lafferty would give this Rangers team a real advantage over their rivals.
