Rangers confirmed several pre-season fixtures on Monday afternoon and Blackpool fans are buzzing that the two sides will face off at Bloomfield Road next month.
The Gers are set to take on Partick Thistle, Tranmere Rovers, Arsenal and then the Tangerines.

It’s hoped that the schedule will throw up a number of different challenges and help to get Steven Gerrard’s squad in the best possible shape to qualify for the Champions League group stages and to defend their Premiership crown.
With arrangements for the final week of pre-season still being finalised, the Blackpool match is currently the last confirmed pre-season challenge for the Light Blues, so it’s likely that a strong team will be fielded in the seaside town.
The newly-promoted EFL Championship club confirmed the fixture on Monday afternoon and their fans were delighted with the announcement.

It’s not the first time that Rangers and Blackpool have met in pre-season, with their last meeting coming back in 2011.
The fixture comes right in the middle of the Pool’s own pre-season fixture list, either side of clashes against Newport County and Carlisle United.
In addition to the four pre-season fixtures, Rangers have also announced a superb plan following supporter requests.
