Rangers are eyeing Vanja Dragojevic for his ball-winning abilities
Dragojevic has an interesting profile, which is what makes him appealing to the Ibrox outfit and Derek McInnes.
The 20-year-old midfielder is already the captain of his club, so he will be bringing much-needed leadership to the Light Blues’ dressing room.
Apart from that, he has been lauded for his ball-winning ability.

He is also known to be aggressive on the pitch and has an engine on him, which allows him to cover a lot of ground.
McInnes will like the fact that he is two-footed and can expect him to receive the ball under pressure and help the team build out from the back much better.
However, there still remain concerns about his ability to win duels, and that is something the Rangers manager will need to address.

Colorado Rapids scout explains what needs to improve in Dragojevic’s game
X account holder Serbian Football Scout is also a scout at MLS club Colorado Rapids and has watched a lot of Dragojevic’s game over the last few years.
While he has praised different aspects of his game, he has highlighted weaknesses when it comes to his physicality.
He wrote: “For a player who offers relatively little progression through his passing, winning around 50% of his ground duels and 44% of his aerial duels isn’t good enough.
“So despite his work rate and defensive instinct potential, questions remain over his press resistance, agility and whether those physical limitations will allow his defensive game to translate consistently at a higher level.”
Someone winning only half his duels and only 44 per cent of his aerial duels is undoubtedly going to struggle with the physicality of the Scottish game.
McInnes will need to sanction extra gym sessions for him to bulk him up a bit, and also have individual training to make him better at winning duels.
