Rangers boss Philippe Clement may well be tempted to bring Ryan Kent back to Ibrox having tried to sign him for Club Brugge.
Rangers saw Ryan Kent leave the club just a few months ago as his contract came to an end.
The winger spent five years at Ibrox if you include his initial loan move, racking up 218 appearances, 33 goals and 56 assists for Rangers.
Kent chose to walk away from Rangers, signing for Turkish side Fenerbahce on a four-year deal.
The move isn’t really going to plan though; Kent has played just 133 minutes of league action across seven substitute appearances.
Ryan Kent to Rangers theories begin
Kent has been linked with leaving Fenerbahce for weeks now having failed to carve out an important role in Turkey.
Turkish reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu now reports that Fenerbahce are willing to loan Kent out for first-team football in January.
Sabuncuoglu claims that one team in England and one team in Scotland are now interested in Kent, which has grabbed the attention of Rangers fans.
The only two Scottish teams who can realistically afford to sign Kent – even on loan – are Rangers and Celtic.
Kent to Celtic surely isn’t going to happen, so maybe Rangers really are interested in offering the 27-year-old a swift return to Glasgow.
The theories have already started, with some wondering if Kent could come back – and some not interested at all after his rather disappointing final season.

Philippe Clement may fancy Kent move
We know what you’re thinking; the key decision-makers who brought Kent to Rangers in the first place aren’t even at the club anymore.
Ross Wilson and Steven Gerrard have long gone and Rangers have a new man calling the shots in Philippe Clement.
Well, believe it or not, Rangers had to fight off competition from Clement to sign Kent back in 2019.
As noted by Sky Sports, Rangers beat Club Brugge to a £7million deal for Kent and the man in charge of Club Brugge back then? Clement.
Clement took charge of Club Brugge in the summer of 2019 and, whilst he may not have had total transfer control there, he would have surely approved any late move for Kent.
The pull of Rangers paved the way for a Glasgow return, leaving Clement and co to miss out.
Fast forward more than four years and Clement is now in charge of Rangers and may well be left to consider finally signing Kent amid claims he wants a new winger at Ibrox.
Such a move would divide opinion but it’s something Clement will surely at least consider if Kent really is available.
