Following Rangers Europa League clash on Thursday evening that saw us progress to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2008, a vital league tie looms ahead on Sunday in what is the final match before the international break.

Rangers only played Dundee six days ago in the Scottish cup quarter-final and won connivingly 3-0 and nothing will change my mind that something similar will occur tomorrow.

The games have been coming thick and fast for the Ibrox side over the last month and with recent cup progression, it looks set to be a hectic April.

Rangers predicted starting XI for Dundee League clash

Giovanni van Bronckhorst gave Allan McGregor the day off last week and I expect him to do the same tomorrow and give Jon McLaughlin another start.

The defence will consist of James Tavernier and Calvin Bassey operating on either side followed by Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun in the heart of defence.

I expect to see Ryan Jack and John Lundstram playing as deep-lying playmakers with Joe Aribo playing more centrally in the 10 where he can be so effective.

Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield will be called upon to support Kemar Roofe, who will start ahead of Morelos due to the player limping off with a suspected injury against Red Star. Roofe is a more than able replacement and should grab a goal or two.

Gio will go for a 4-2-3-1 formation against Dundee as we aim to end a tough run of matches on a high note and really start to put pressure on Celtic at the top of the league table.

Meanwhile, Europa League rivals Braga will be aiming to have some sort of revenge when they take on the Gers in the quarter finals.
