It’s been a fantastic couple of days for Rangers’ Zak Rudden, who is currently on loan at Falkirk.
The 18-year-old returned to the Bairns’ line-up after a two-week absence on Saturday, and was the chief reason they managed to snatch a shock away win at Inverness.
His impressive brace and all round performance, saw him included in the SPFL team of the week.

But it hasn’t stopped there for the teenager. He has clearly been impressing the powers that be at the SPFL, as he has also been shortlisted for their Goal of the Month award.
The strike in question came in a 1-0 win away at Dunfermline Athletic on 10th November.
The striker receives the ball around 30-yards from goal, shifts it out of his feet, and fires past the ‘keeper into the bottom right corner. He even follows it up with a Scott Arfield style salute celebration.

However, Rudden faces stiff competition to be the overall winner. The shortlist features goals from throughout the various divisions of the league system, including spectacular volleys and long range chips.
Yet, regardless, the youngster is sure to be brimming with confidence from all this recognition. Rangers fans will hope he can continue to develop over the course of the season. At Falkirk, they will need more goals from their target man, to succeed in the fight for Championship survival.
