Wrexham fans have taken to Twitter to confirm that “50-100” Celtic fans crashed their Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup tie with the Rangers Colts at Ibrox.
The Rangers Colts drew the English conference club in the quarter-finals of the tournament and in the run-up to the tie there was news that the Welsh outfit had admirably sold close to 1100 tickets before the match.
But it wasn’t known that some of the briefs had been purchased by “obsessed” Celtic fans determined to cause a problem at the match.

There reports, from supporters in attendance, confirm that anywhere between 50-100 Celtic fans attended the match at Ibrox.
Contrary to reports from the likes of the Scottish Sun claiming it was Wrexham fans on the wind-up, even the Welsh club’s supporters have condemned the involvement of Celtic fans.

Unacceptable chanting and those embarrassing IRA dirges meant that what was supposed to be a nice encounter between the two clubs, quickly turned sour.
Rangers fans took to Twitter to express their cringe over the latest embarrassing move from our rivals.

Imagine, just for one second, that you give up your Saturday afternoon to go to watch your rivals play in a youth game and shout dogs abuse at teenagers?
It really is as sad it sounds.
It’s not the first time these weirdos have crashed a match with a Rangers B team too. The Rangers Women’s side was the target of abuse back in August.
