Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack will see a specialist regarding the calf problem which has plagued his season in worrying comments regarding the nature of the issue.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has previously discussed the careful nature with which both the Gers and national side Scotland need to use the midfielder due to ongoing injury issues.
Assistant boss Gary McAllister went into greater detail regarding the former Aberdeen skipper’s situation as frustrations persist.
“Ryan has been in London the last couple of days to see some specialists so we are waiting for the results coming back up from London on that visit,” said McAllister [Rangers].
It is just further investigations to try and get to the bottom of Ryan’s problem. We will wait for the results of that.”
The 29-year-old isn’t getting any younger with Jack himself discussing his injury situation and admits he is “absolutely gutted” by the ongoing complications.
The midfielder took to Instagram to send a message to supporters and says he “can’t wait” to pull the jersey on again.
An influential player for both club and country, Gers fans and Jacko himself will be hoping that he can overcome the injury issues which are beginning to have a considerable impact on his career.
It’s clear that Jack is very highly thought of by the Rangers backroom staff and it would be a considerable blow to the club if the Gers continue to be without his services.
