Rangers fan and Worlds Strongest Man Tom Stoltman has won Britain’s Strongest Man contest for the second year in a row.
Stoltman, who doesn’t hide where his allegiances lie, can often be spotted at Rangers games all over the country and has the mass Ibrox faithful behind him when he competes for prestigious events.
He became the first man from Scotland to ever win the World’s Strongest Man event and only the fifth British person to do so when he claimed victory in June 2021.

Stoltman’s success meant he was the first person to retain the title since Eddie Hall managed four in a row between 2014 and 2018 and this win will surely boost his confidence for the 2022 World Strongest Man contest in May.
The Scot finished first with a score of 53.5 points, a massive 12 points ahead of Pa O’Dwyer who finished in second place.
The 27-year-old set a world record with his opening event, the shield carry, to establish a lead that he wouldn’t relinquish and put down a marker for all the other competitors.
All in all, Stoltman won four out of the five events to totally dominate the event and continue where he left off last year.
The next event in the calendar is the 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic which will take place this weekend and the Scot will be aiming to win the event for the first time in his impressive career.
Hopefully, by the time the World event comes around, he could be celebrating domestic success with Rangers as we aim to retain our league title.
Meanwhile, Rangers Euro rivals ignited their title bid with a fantastic derby win on Sunday.
