Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Livingston, many fans have asked “what channel is the Rangers game on” as Michael Beale aims for his ninth win in a row.
Unfortunately, despite the 42-year-old’s recent demand for more Scottish football to be shown on live TV, the clash between Rangers and Livingston will not be broadcast by Sky Sports, BBC Sport or any outlet whatsoever.
Why? Let’s take a look…
Why Rangers vs Livingston is not on TV
Well, Sky Sports had the opportunity to select Rangers vs Livingston as their match of the weekend.
However, they decided to broadcast Sunday’s clash between Motherwell and Hearts.
Often, fans can choose to put their hand in their pocket to pay for a PPV (pay-per-view) broadcast of the match.
However, in this instance, there will be no PPV option due to the 3pm UEFA blackout rule – as detailed by Glasgow Live.

Despite being unable to watch the game live on TV, Rangers supporters will still be able to follow the action through alternative methods.
BBC Radio Scotland will be providing live audio updates on their Sportsound broadcast.
Rangers will also be posting live text updates on their official Twitter feed, while Livingston are expected to do the same on their official Twitter account.
It is set to be an exciting clash between second and fourth in the Scottish Premiership, and Rangers have no choice but to pick up three points with Celtic currently nine points clear at the top of the table.
Beale seems all too aware of that, and has impressively won 12 of his 13 games in charge since replacing Giovanni van Bronckhorst, with the only failure to win coming in the 2-2 draw against Celtic.
It has been an excellent start to life back in Glasgow for the Bromley-born tactician, and he will need to keep it up if he wants to wrestle the Scottish Premiership title back from Ange Postecoglou.
