Who signed John Lundstram for Rangers?

John Lundstram signed for Rangers on July 5, 2021. That means Steven Gerrard was the boss who brought him to Ibrox.

Gerrard said this after sealing Lundstram’s transfer: “John is a player I have known for some time and knew he would enhance our squad.

“Having played in the Premiership (English Premier League), he has the undoubted quality to enhance our midfield with his technical ability and physicality and I was impressed with his attitude and ambition when we spoke over recent weeks.

Yes, John Lundstram grew up a Liverpool fan after being born and raised in the city.

In October 2022, he revealed to Sky Sports that his family are all Liverpool supporters too ahead of Rangers’ Champions League group stage clash with the Reds.

Did John Lundstram play for Everton?

Yes, despite being a Liverpool fan growing up, Lundstram went on to play for Everton. He signed for the Toffees when he was 15 years old and made 46 appearances for the club’s U21 side.
