Celtic are reportedly closing in on a move for Bournemouth winger Jordan Ibe as they look to strengthen in the wake of Rangers’ improvements.
The former Liverpool winger cost Bournemouth £15m last season and reports claim Celtic are about to sign the player on loan.
But Rangers were linked to the winger in the January transfer window after dubious claims made by the Daily Record’s Keith Jackson.

The club’s supporters believed the entire link had been made up with some even calling the claims “embarrassing”.
With so many wingers at the club – even then – it was an incredibly unlikely move.
Not to mention the fact Bournemouth had just shelled out so much for the player at the beginning of last season.
But now it appears Celtic are edging closer to securing the player on a loan deal after the winger has failed to impress with the Cherries.
Jordan Ibe isn’t the only player who has been linked between the two clubs in recent times either.
Kilmarnock full-back Greg Taylor continues to interest Celtic whilst some Rangers fans think he could be a solution to our own issues at left-back.
