Some West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to suggest what Gareth McAuley will bring to Rangers.
The veteran defender officially signed for the club on Monday on a free transfer.

So despite the closure of the transfer window last Friday, Rangers were still able to sign him.
McAuley is a vastly experienced player, and has been playing the game professionally since 1999.
The Northern Irishman started out at Belfast-based Linfield, but never appeared for the first team and was loaned out to Ballyclare Comrades.
He made his bow in English football in 2004 after transferring to Lincoln City from Coleraine.
West Brom stint
For the last seven years McAuley plied his trade in the Premier League with West Brom.
The centre-half made 227 appearances in total for the Midlands club – 203 of which came in the league.
Remarkably, with the exception of last season, McAuley was a regular since joining the club.

During his time at the Hawthorns he helped Albion remain competitive in the top flight, and was praised for his consistency and leadership at the back. He also scored a fair amount of goals and had surprisingly good fitness despite his advancing years.
He was a great servant for the Baggies, and many fans look back at his contributions fondly.
What is he going to bring to Rangers?
West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to inform Rangers fans what they can expect with the McAuley signing.
The general consensus appears to be that the defender is both a great player and exemplary human being.
Here’s what some have said:
Thanks for the brilliant service @G23mcauley , one of the most committed, consistent and genuine defenders I can recall in all my years as a Baggies fan, and an absolute decent, honorable bloke, after he met my family last season…
