We pick Rangers Cereal XI as club announce new official partnership with Kellogg’s

Rangers have launched an “exciting” new partnership with leading cereal brand Kellogg’s as the club start their day with a bumper breakfast announcement.

The “multi-year” deal will see Kellogg’s become Rangers’ official breakfast cereal partner in a deal which brings together “two historic institutions to encourage positive change within the Glasgow community and beyond”.

As a result of the commercial partnership – which saw Broxi Bear team up with Coco of Coco Pops fame – the Kellogg’s brand will now be visible around Rangers at Ibrox and online.

And in the spirit of it all, we’ve tried our hand at making an unofficial Rangers cereal XI!

Rangers “thrilled” to sign Kellogg’s deal

Before we get into all that, Rangers Chief Commercial Officer Karim Varani had this to say about the partnership.

“We are thrilled to join forces with a renowned household brand such as Kellogg’s,” said Varani.

“Like Rangers, Kellogg’s is an organisation that places community at the heart of everything that they do, sharing the ability to connect families across the nation.

“We now look forward to making a profound impact together and we are excited for the impact that this partnership will deliver over the coming years.”

Rangers continue to strike commercial partnerships across a variety of industries with revenue garnered through these sponsorship deals one of the pillars of the club’s business plan.

Alongside season ticket sales, European football, and player trading, some might laugh at the deal with Kellogg’s – or at least our Rangers’ Cereal XI – but it’s serious business and shows our commercial department is active.

Rangers Cereal XI

Pulling together some of the greatest names in Ibrox history with some of the cereal world’s most famous brands, here’s our Rangers Cereal XI.

Post up, pour yourself a bowl of Kellogg’s corn flakes, and feast your eyes upon this monstrosity of a line-up we’ve somehow conjured up for you all.

In true Rangers form it’s the traditional 4-4-2 we’ve gone for at the breakfast table and we’re sure this team would give any Ibrox side in history a run for its money!
