A leading star from a TV game show has shutdown a Celtic fan after a number of our Old Firm rivals led a campaign against the show for claiming Rangers had been “triple-relegated”.
In the biggest and best Sevco of 2020 so far, Celtic fans leapt onto Twitter to condemn ITV’s The Chase for a question about Rangers’ relegation.

Host Bradley Walsh asked a contestant which Scottish club were “triple-relegated” in 2012 with the answer obviously being Rangers.
No, this story is not made up.
Rangers fans were in stitches when obsessive rival fans jumped on the question and started publicly peppering the gameshow with some even claiming it was some kind of conspiracy.
The story was picked up by the Glasgow Times who represented the situation honestly by stating it was Celtic fans who had this reaction.
But the Scottish Sun opted for the classic “Scottish fans” route both protecting our Old Firm rivals from the embarrassment of this rubbish and insinuating it also came from elsewhere.
Spoiler alert – even in their article there are absolutely no cases where supporters other than those of the Parkhead club are quoted
As the complaints have intensified, one of the gameshow’s Chasers took to Twitter to cut down a Celtic fan fuming about researchers working for the show.
Jenny Ryan took aim at the fan by saying:

“I don’t get to tell the researchers anything, they don’t work for me. But I *do” know that all questions on The Chase are fully sourced and then verified, to ensure the accuracy of the material.”
So that’s only the SFA, FIFA, UEFA, and now The Chase who won’t bite to the new club shtick, but still, Sevco, Sevco, Sevco.
