A trio of ex-Rangers stars have been hilariously parodied in a viral clip from a young Scottish comedian.

Mark Black is a stand-up comedian/musician and has had Scottish football fans in stitches with his hilarious parody of the popular podcast Open Goal, and specifically their Keeping the Ball on the Ground show.

None of the regular panellists are safe as Black goads the likes of ex-Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson, popular ex-Ibrox star Andy Halliday and ex-Gers striker Kevin Kyle in a sketch called Kick it in the Goal.

At the time of writing the sketch has been viewed over 160k times with the response on Twitter overwhelmingly positive.

Open Goal is amongst the most popular weekly Scottish football shows and the comedian’s impressions have went down very well online.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

Ex-Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday is a regular on the show with the podcast somewhat launching a media career for the now Hearts player.

Derek Ferguson is more associated with the Right in the Coupon show from the same Open Goal YouTube channel.

Kevin Kyle has, alongside host Simon Ferry and Paul Slane, been a fixture on the popular show which rakes in YouTube hits by the thousands.

Ex-Rangers forward Kyle also took the parody in good jest, taking to Twitter to call the sketch “superb”.

Meanwhile, Rangers ran out 1-0 winners against St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership courtesy of an Ianis Hagi strike in the second half.

Here’s how the Gers players rated in the Ibrox club’s sixth domestic 1-0 win this season.
