Davinson Sanchez has had plenty of positive things to say about Alfredo Morelos, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The Tottenham defender came through the youth international ranks with El Bufalo in Colombia. Therefore, they’ve known each other for a long time and consider themselves good friends.

They won’t be playing alongside each other in the upcoming Copa America, though. Morelos was a surprise exclusion from the extended pre-tournament squad [Sky Sports] and wasn’t happy about it either.
However, Sanchez has tipped him to overcome challenges and mistakes to become a top player.
“He’s only human and it can be that he makes mistakes, but the most important thing is that he can improve on this,” said the Spurs centre-back on Morelos, as quoted by the Daily Record. “Can he reach the top level? Yeah, yeah, everyone can.”
“When you are playing, you have to be ready to go to the best and reach your level. I don’t know if he will change for another club, but it’s also a case that he can score more and more goals and become better than he is right now for his current club.
“Also, his mentality is going to improve a lot. I will say that all of the things that have happened in his life are going to be important for him to improve.”

Sanchez was coy on Morelos’ future, but then again, he has other things on his mind at the minute.
On Saturday, he’s hoping to be part of the Tottenham side to take on Liverpool in the Champions League final.
