“Tinpot” – Hibs' Ryan Porteous mocking Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos is tragic

There’s been plenty of tragic football banter aimed at Rangers over the years, but this one from up Edinburgh way just about tops the lot.
Hibs supporter @Sean_Nicol unveiled a painting of Hibs defender Ryan Porteous mocking Alfredo Morelos after a challenge back in December. It’s been the highlight of Hibs’ season so far.
Naturally, he got Ryan Porteous to pose with the painting and sign it. As if it wasn’t already tragic enough. Rangers fans have, naturally, saw the funny side.

Whilst you can’t knock the quality of the painting, you can certainly question the quality of the banter. The mental thing is, Porteous should’ve been off the pitch. He flew into a brutal challenge on Lassana Coulibaly in Rangers’ last trip to Easter Road.
He wasn’t even punished retrospectively.
Imagine Morelos flew in like that on Porteous? There would be a national commission launched to investigate it, a five-game ban for the striker and a counselling hotline set-up to console distraught and angry Hibs fans.

Alfredo Morelos seems to have upset everyone in Scottish football. He’s even unable to escape the wrath of Easter Road.
And it’s not without good reason. Alfredo Morelos is on red hot form and could be the difference maker as Rangers travel up to Hibs tonight.
This Colombian journalist also believes that it’s the striker’s ability which riles the opposition more than his character.
