Rangers sterling performance against Hearts was rewarded with three points and five goals but some of Philippe Clement’s side have been given another accolade.
The Gers boss got his team selection and tactics perfect as the capital outfit struggled to cope with the pace of the Light Blues attack from all over the Ibrox pitch.
Up next for Rangers is Kilmarnock and Philippe Clement will be wanting to see more of the same from those named in Clyde Superscoreboard’s team of the week.

Rangers players find form under Philippe Clement
If anything, there are several players in the squad who can feel agrieved at not making it in.
Oscar Cortes chipped in with a goal and assist and was a constant threat on the left-hand side of the forward line.
He has brought a control and unpredictability that was previously missing.
The 20-year old has made an immediate impression and being able to drive to the by-line on his left or cut inside and shoot with his right foot is causing opposition defenders all sorts of consternation.
Mohamed Diomande has also missed out.
The 22-year old Ivorian was everywhere in midfield and didn’t give more physical Hearts midfielders the chance to dominate.
He moved the ball quickly, linked play and scored a wonderful goal to open the scoring.
The three who did make the cut are John Souttar, John Lundstram and Cyriel Dessers.
All three were outstanding and scored well on Rangers News’ player ratings, that all three have had their critics in their time at the club is also a point not to be missed.
Philippe Clement has come into the club and turned the fortunes of several players in his Rangers squad around and given them a new lease of life.
Add Ridvan Yilmaz to that list of players who were once deemed surplus to requirements but now deemed as indispensable.
Earlier in the season, if you were asked if any of the squad were displaying title winning form, you’d be scratching your head at finding names to join Jack Butland and Abdallah Sima.
Now, it is more than just the starting XI, and there are more in-form players than there are starting jerseys.
For once, Clement has a good problem to solve.
