Some Rangers fans are calling on the club to play any potential Rangers Colts v Wrexham tie at Ibrox – and also calling on popular Twitter personality Bootlegger to make an appearance.
A Rangers Colts side will face the Welsh outfit – who play in the English National League – in Glasgow should they get past Solihull Moors.
Popular internet personality Bootlegger is famously a diehard Wrexham fan and the Ibrox legions would love the chance to have a pre-match pilsner with the Captain before the match.

But whilst the Captain stirred up plenty of excitement with his tweet about potentially coming to Scotland, it could well be very short-lived.
The beer-loving internet personality – who is currently doing Sober October to raise money for charity – is now claiming he’s on a “jolly boys outing” to Benidorm when the match is currently scheduled.
However, the weekend of November 16/17 when the game is supposed to be played is another international break.
Rangers’ tie with Solihull Moors had to be rearranged due to youth international call-ups and will now be played October 26th.
It will likely be the same case this time around.

So, whilst Rangers still need to progress through a tough match in England’s north-east, there’s every chance the Captain could still make the match in Glasgow.
Some fans even think the tie should be played at Ibrox – if the Colts get there.
If they do, see you in the Louden for a couple of pilsners baby.
