With Rangers already in the Europa League last 32 draw fans have been musing over the possibility of getting English giants Manchester United in the knockouts.
The Gers have qualified with a game to spare and know that should they win in Poland tonight – or at the very least match Benfica’s result – they’ll go through as group winners.
Whatever happens this evening will have a huge bearing on who Rangers play in the next round with a spot in the seeded pot up for grabs should they get a result over the line.
But Utd – who’ve just dropped down from the Champions League – are one team whom Rangers fans are buzzing at the prospect of facing.
Manchester United have tumbled into the Europa League after finishing third in their group in the Champions League, meaning they’ll be in the hat for Monday’s draw.
Finishing as one of the Champions League teams with the highest points total, it means the Red Devils are in the seeded pot [UEFA].
That means Rangers would have to fail in their quest to top the group this evening if they were to face off against United in the next round.
But whatever the case, Rangers fans are excited at the prospect of facing one of the world game’s biggest clubs at any point in the competition in a long-awaited Battle of Britain:

The Bears are very confident they could defeat a Man Utd side currently sixth in the Premier League in a match which would obviously have an extra dimension due to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard being the Ibrox club’s manager.
