Rangers played in their traditional blue home top but changed blue shorts and white shocks from the usual white shorts and black socks.

It made for an eye-catching change for the Scottish Premiership match and it certainly did little to dampen the side’s efforts in West Lothian.

Rangers ran out comfortable 2-0 winners against Livi with a first league goal for Joe Aribo being complemented with a 22nd strike of the season for Alfredo Morelos.

The match was also shrouded in off-field controversy after a war of words between Gers boss Steven Gerrard and Lions manager Gary Holt.

Livi boss Holt released a newspaper column slating Steven Gerrard [Daily Record] for alluding to his side’s over-physical style of play, in apparent mind games before the match.

As a result, the Ibrox club’s supporters certainly enjoyed getting one over on the former Kilmarnock midfielder after the match.
