Rangers victory over Cowdenbeath is a game probably better resigned to the history books.
The freezing conditions weren’t helped by the fact Rangers seemed frozen stiff in the second half. But our commanding performance in the first was enough to see the team through. Rangers eventually ran out 3-1 winners.
And some of those fans who braved the cold have earned themselves a bit of a reward in the next round.

The Scottish Cup fifth round will see Rangers travel to Rugby Park to play Kilmarnock on Saturday 9th of February. That alone might not sound all that appealing. But because the game is on Premier Sports it will kick off at 5:15pm.
Big day and night out ahead in Kilmarnock
It’s a rare event for the Ibrox faithful and will add to the spectacle. Saturday night, under the lights, and fans will have the chance to enjoy a day out in Killie prior to kick off too!
It also means those who don’t make the trip can take in the game a little later. It could be the perfect start to Saturday night.

It’s an exciting prospect and will surely add to the atmosphere of the game. With silverware on the line, it’s a match that both sides will desperately vying to win.
Rangers might’ve lost at Killie in the Scottish Premiership recently, but the Gers have a victory in the cup at Rugby Park already this season. Rangers ran out 3-1 winners against Kilmarnock in the Betfred Cup back in August. Alfredo Morelos scored all three.
The stage is perfectly set for him to try do the same a week on Saturday.
