Even global tech giant Twitter can’t get enough of Rangers winger Ryan Kent scoring the winning goal against Braga.
Or at least that’s what you would’ve thought earlier this afternoon when the social media giant changed the header on its official account to an image of the winger celebrating.
That or the admin for the tech giant’s official account was a diehard bluenose still buzzing after the famous victory in Portugal.

But just as Rangers fans begin to notice the popular social media platform showing their colours with the post, it appears to be part of a marketing campaign.
After Tweeting that they needed a new header, what followed was a deluge of comments bearing suggestions.
It appears that a request from Rangers fan Michael Seafarer was picked up by the Twitter admin and the picture of Ryan Kent applied.

Although it didn’t stick around for long, Rangers fans will enjoy the fact that even for a short while it was all about Ryan Kent on the company’s official account, followed by 57m+ people.
Ryan Kent got the only goal as Rangers ran out 1-0 winners on the night against Braga, going through the tie 4-2 on aggregate to reach the Europa League last 16.
