Rangers midfield star Ryan Jack was sensational as he hit a double to sink Ross County and it caught the eye of Swansea midfielder George Byers.
The young Scottish talent is a known bluenose and took to Twitter to express his delight at the Rangers man’s superb contribution with two excellent finishes in Dingwall.
In fact, Jack’s performance impress Byers so much, he called for the midfielder to be nominated for the Balon d’Or. Ok, so he might’ve been a bit tongue in cheek there.
The talented George Byers, who came through the youth ranks at Watford, is a highly rated midfielder currently plying his trade in the English Championship.
Someone who clearly still follows Rangers down south, the player would’ve been especially impressed with Ryan Jack’s performance given he plays in the same position.
To be fair, who wasn’t?
The Rangers number 8 showed the influence his manager is having on his game with two sweet strikes from the edge of the box and a real leader’s performance on the park.

His tremendous goalscoring performance caught the eye of the Rangers fans and reiterated just how important the former Aberdeen captain is to this Rangers side.
Is it time he kicked on and started contributing even more goals to the side from midfield?
