Stuart McCall reminisced about his time as a Gers player, on the Official Rangers Podcast.
The former Gers midfielder and manager spent seven years as a player at Ibrox between 1991 and 1998.
Over that time he racked up almost 200 appearances and won 10 major trophies.
During a period of Rangers domination, his record against Celtic was excellent.
Therefore, he was asked to talk about some of his fondest Old Firm memories. One fixture that stood out, was a win at Parkhead during his debut season.
“It was just everything I’d hoped it would be”, McCall told the Official Rangers Podcast.
“I think the biggest thing for myself was when we walked out…the banners, everything, it was incredible.

“Obviously we scored going up to the Celtic end..it was like silence and then all of a sudden, a wall of noise because the Rangers fans were at the far end.
“That will live with me forever, that game.”
It’s great to hear a former player speak so highly of the Rangers supporters.
One thing is for sure, if the Gers can pull off a win on Sunday, they’ll be in fine voice once more.
It’s a big ask, but December’s win at Ibrox shows that on their day, this side are more than a match for their biggest rivals.
