Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has reiterated how much the players need Ibrox to be rocking when Hibs come to visit on Sunday.
After the 4-2 win over FC Midtjylland there’s a good feeling around Ibrox but last night Steven Gerrard wasted no time shifting the focus to the match with Hibernian.
And he reiterated comments about needing Ibrox to be “rocking” as he spoke to the press ahead of the crunch match.

“We have to go onto the next game very quickly,” said Gerrard.
“The squad’s big enough. I’ll make a few changes at the weekend to freshen it up.
“But I need the Ibrox to be rocking at the weekend.
“We’ve put a lot into tonight, so we need the crowd at the weekend.”
The Gers boss’ comments show just how much he values a raucous Ibrox in both getting the most from his players and in intimidating the opposition.
Rangers came through a difficult week last week following the draw against Progres in Luxembourg and an unconvincing victory against Kilmarnock last weekend.
The saving grace for Rangers was the last-minute winner at a ground we didn’t win at last season in the league.
But the club and side came through the week with the results they needed, and after that stunning result in Denmark, the match with Hibs is a chance to lay down a marker domestically.

And Steven Gerrard is clear the side need the support of the fans in order to do so.
The match with Hibs will also be the first time Rangers introduce a new ticketing system, with the club releasing a special announcement ahead of the move [Rangers.co.uk].
