Steven Gerrard has revealed to RangersTV, how his team have prepared for Sunday’s Old Firm clash.
As always, it’s a huge fixture for everyone connected with the club.
Silverware may now look out of reach, but back-to-back derby victories would put a real marker down ahead of next season.

Back at Ibrox in December, Rangers dominated the game and emerged with the three points.
It’s a different proposition away from home, but Gerrard believes strong preparation has left the squad in a good place.
“We gave them a couple of days after the Kilmarnock game to wind down and then we pushed them hard. We did three sessions in two days and pushed them physically”, Gerrard told
“Then we gave them a long weekend with the families to freshen up as they have played a lot of games.
“It is that stage of the season where you don’t really have to put the hours in on the training ground. It is more about maintenance and ticking over.
“Hopefully they will be fresh physically and mentally going into the weekend.”

It’s certainly an interesting approach, packing demanding sessions in either side of time off.
However, many of the Rangers players looked leggy before the international break.
The demands of a lengthy European campaign look to be taking their toll and therefore, the more rest the better.
What’s more, with several key men away on international duty, the amount of work that can be done on team shape, is automatically limited.
Let’s hope this approach pays off, come Sunday.
